Woodland Park – Fantastic Customers!

My fourth and final Woodland Park Blog. I know I’ve been talking a lot about my Woodland Park show and it’s because it was a wonderful show.

First, I want to thank my customers. Thank you for your support and for loving my glass like I do. I must have given away 20 or more small dishes during my give away for coming to visiting me.

Second, I have the best customers. Some are extremely talent. The cabochon below was given to me by one of my customers. She hand beaded it, imagine the work that went into this piece. Isn’t it beautiful? I’m going to make it into a snap so I can wear it with my favorite necklace.

Third I have the best customers. To be perfectly honest, Saturday wasn’t the busiest day and me and some of the other artists were talking about how people just don’t value art anymore because they just buy mass market art. Sunday was even slower, but I want to talk about some of my amazing customers

The first customer I want to talk about is pictured below. What she is holding is one of my fused glass drop ring vases. I talked to her about how it’s made and how how much work went into it. The fused glass vase is relatively small and more money than most people would expect for a small vase. But she got it; she understood how much work went into the vase, that it was handmade and unique, and that it wasn’t expensive based on the hours and hours of work that went into making it. Thank you again for buying handmade art from a local artist who loves that you appreciate real glass art.

The second is a group of young ladies who each bought some of my fused glass. I love selling my fused glass art to young people (ironically I made several sales to children as well) because it shows they truly understand and respect art. Thank you ladies for spending time in my booth and purchasing my fused glass art.

Thank you to all my customers that came and visited me during my Woodland Park show. Remember I only have 4 more shows, please come and visit I never get tired of my fused glass.
