As those who follow me know, I typically do 3 craft shows a year, this year because of my new job I’m only able to do one, Rampart High School. I participated in the Rampart High School Arts and Craft Show earlier this month. I always love talking about and showing off my glass.
Here are a few shots of my booth. I so enjoy sharing my love of glass.
I held a drawing for those who signed up for my newsletter – the winner is Christy. She can choose her $25 worth of free fused glass from my website (Posts) or from my home show (there will be one in December). I’ve already been in contact with her and will publish my next home show shortly.
I gave away fused glass pendants to everyone who receives my newsletter and came by the show. I love giving presents to my newsletter recipients/readers for a couple of reasons,
- It’s difficult times and everyone deserves a special gift.
- I really appreciate those of you who get/read my newsletters – it makes me feel so good when someone says I got your newsletter and I love the story about…
- It makes my day to see people who love my glass art so giving them a free gift is actually selfish for me.
Thank you again to all those who get and read my newsletters – That is why I give presents to all my newsletter recipients who visit my shows. For my Home Show in Dec, I will be giving a way several things, Pendants and Ornaments for just showing up. Then if you purchase something I will be giving another fused glass gift.
Please support your local artists. The price they charge isn’t close to the heart, time, and soul they put into their artwork.
BTW I don’t normally bring my fused glass picture frames because I really love them and I have them all over my house. Well this time I did and this lovely lady bought one of my favorites. What a beautiful pieces and congratulations to her for recognizing such a stunning piece of glass.
If you would like to see more of my fused glass work, please refer to my website Elegant Fused Glass by Karen. If you get a chance, check out all my site and my Elegant Fused Glass by Karen YouTube. If you’d like to take a class please check out the information on my site about my classes. If you would like to stay abreast of what I’m up-to check out our newsletter. It is published the last day of each month.
Keeping my kiln warm,
Karen
