Westcliffe, Colorado

So we closed on our land in Westcliffe. It was amazing. We went to Westcliffe and set in lawn chairs and just listened to the wind and looked at the mountains. It was so serine, I’ve never felt such peace.

We walked the land and found the boundaries. I even saw 3 deer scampering off.

We saw elk on the drive in, we didn’t see the big horn sheep this time but I guess we can always see them. We climbed the rock outcroppings, it was so fun. It’s so beautiful, I just love the area.

We also went to the park, where we flew the drone and saw a fox and deer (one of the deer was prancing!). What a magical morning. Oh BTW did I mention I went went to the bakery and got all these wonderful pastries. If you ever go to Westcliffe you must go to the bakery, it’s fabulous!

It’s so great knowing we have a bit of this beautiful land.
