I’m so excited, last month I wrote about going to Westcliffe Colorado and looking for a piece of land for us to build on when we retire. We went back this month to see where the surveyor marked the land (sadly he hadn’t been there yet) but we walked around anyway and saw some deer.
Additionally, I bought my husband a drone. First of all OMG that thing is tiny, but it’s so he doesn’t have to fall under FAA rules. That being said my husband is a retired pilot so he knows and follows all the rules.
Anyway we took the drone over to Westcliffe and used it on our land to help us determine the best place for the house. Yes I know we aren’t planning on building for 5 or 6 years but we’re just so excited we can’t help ourselves. Here is the video my husband made of the area and his drone. I love all the pinon trees. I also love the view, the video is from about 20 feet in the air. BTW didn’t he do a great job flying the drone? Isn’t it incredible?
We’re hoping to go over to Westcliffe once a month. I’ll try not to blog about it too much but…..no promises. I hope you like the video.
