Weaver Artist

I’ve been writing about my friend Merle who makes gourdes and has brought her friends over for classes. One of her friends (and now mine) is Susan, she is a fabulous weaver. She used some of my glass to make me an ornament and a basket. Here is my basket, isn’t it beautiful. I asked her for purple and it’s just so fabulous. She even sent me a picture of her making it (bottom – left photo) I put it up immediately (last picture).

She also made me an ornament. I just love it, especially in the light. She also made a green one. I just love these. I gave her some more don’ts so she could make some more. I am so happy that I have so many talented friends. I’m hoping she’ll make me another one!
