I’ve spoken about my fabulous commercial businesses that support my small, fused glass business. One of my favorite small businesses that supports my glass business is here in Colorado. Below are just a few of the custom pieces I’ve made for them. Quite the variety!
On our way back from Delta visiting my husband’s parents we stopped by the hotel/restaurant that has the glass dishes. We decided to have lunch there and they were so nice to us. I ordered the cobb salad and I must say it was the best cobb salad that I’ve ever had and guess what dish it came in? That’s right the bowls I made!! I was so happy I almost cried. Matt came out and was so kind to us, I was so excited I forgot to have a picture with him.
In addition to Matt coming out Barbara, the pastry chef came out and brought us some of the best pastries I’ve ever tried. She explained what each were and they were so delicious! There were 2 of each one for my husband and one for me. Yes we ate them all, I put pictures of each. YES, that is another one of my plates. Wow – I’m so honored!
What a fabulous experience! When I got home, yep Matt made another order for the cobb salad bowls. Here they are, I am still on a high from how great they were.
I also included several presents. First a dish for Barbara – I think this will really show off her desserts. I also sent Matt a flower heart to show how I appreciate his support (my apologies I didn’t take a picture of the heart). I also included 2 little dishes perfect for so many options.
Thank you again to all my commercial companies for supporting fused glass artists. It means so much to a small business like mine.
