Visit from My Cousin

A few years ago, we had a family reunion, and I was able to meet my cousins that I’ve either never met or haven’t seen in 50 years. Over the last few years, we’ve gotten to know each other even more, and it’s been a wonderful experience.

Recently one of my cousins visited Colorado and stopped by our house. We had a nice visit. It’s always so great seeing family.

I showed her my glass studio, finishing room, screen printing room, and my finished room. I think she was a bit overwhelmed. I told her she could pick out some glass artwork if she wanted to. I really love sharing my glass with people who enjoy it.

We also invited them to go to Westcliffe and visit our little town. Based on her texts and the pictures I think they had a good time.

It makes me feel so great that 1) she like my glass enough to take some home with her and 2) that they enjoyed Westcliffe almost as much as we do.

Hopefully, Margie’s and Berv’s visits will encourage more of my family to visit me.

Every time Berv talks about our vacation he talks about our visit with both of you and staying at your Westcliffe home. It was such a lovely addition to our vacation. Your fused glass is so impressive. I haven’t unpacked my boxes yet. I can’t wait to show some people your work. Love ya!
