I mentioned a few months ago I had several big commercial fused glass orders orders. Well I’m finishing up two of the orders this month. The first one is this beautiful transparent blue fused glass soap dishes. The picture on the left shows some of the different phases. Of course I didn’t show all the cutting and washing and firing. Bottom line it’s a long process. On the right are the two gifts that came I’m giving with it. I try to give a business card holder and then the dish is a combination of blue and white.
The next order I’m completing this week is white with clear trim fused glass soap dishes. I must admit this dish is a pain in the butt, it’s 6 pieces of glass and they don’t always line up and they shift. All that being said I did it. My last big order is the same type so hopefully I’ve learned some lessons from this order for that group.
The gifts for this order is a fused glass business card holder and a dish with white and clear. You know they are simple but that’s what makes them elegant.
