This is a difficult post to write, which is why it has taken several months to write it.
For those who follow my newsletter and live in Colorado, you may remember I have some of my fused glass at Tulips in Denver.
In August Sharon, the owner and my friend passed away. To say the least I will miss her. She was kind and generous. She was a good friend.
Before Sharon passed she arranged for two of her friends (Alicia & Jennifer) to take over the shop. She was such a supporter of local artists.
Alicia came by to this month and picked out several pieces for the shop. Here are some of the ways she displayed my glass art. As you can see she has several artists in the store.
If you live in Colorado please support Tulips. It’s a small business that supports local artists including painters, ceramics, and of course glass.
I will miss my friend. My heart goes out to Sharon’s husband.
If you would like to see more of my fused glass work, please refer to my website Elegant Fused Glass by Karen. If you get a chance, check out all my sites; my Art fire Store, my Etsy store, Elegant Fused Glass by Karen YouTube and my Pinterest, and. If you would like to stay abreast of what I’m up-to and learn a little more about jewelry, check out our newsletter. It is published the last day of each month.
Keeping my kiln warm,
Karen
