Steamboat Springs (1 of 2)

I love to travel, not just overseas but here in Colorado as well. Last year my husband and I made a commitment to spend more time together. We had a blast last year, so we made the same commitment this year. Our first trip of the year was to Steamboat Springs here in Colorado.

It’s my first time going to Steamboat and what a beautiful place. I loved the drive so many stunning views. Our first activity was Snowmobiling. What a blast! As you can see it was a bit snowy, but oh so much fun. This was my second time snowmobiling and I just enjoy it so much. We’re going to make it an annual event.

We also went to the Strawberry Park hot springs. Wow what a place. It’s so beautiful and amazing. It’s set up on the mountain with stunning views. There were several hot springs one was a bit too hot for us and then there was a creek and it was too cold. But there was a couple that were perfect temperature. It was so freakin cold, but so much fun!

We also went to the other hot springs in Steamboat (old town), but I wasn’t as impressed with it. Of course it could be because it was windy and cold and I fell on my way out, luckily it was just a bruise and nothing serious.

We also saw the barn – the symbol of Steamboat. It’s funny we were actually on our way out of town when I told Dan I wanted to see it and we turned around and went back. Such a beautiful spot.

I don’t want to put too much in this blog so there is a part 2 as well. I know this isn’t about Glass, but I do love to share my travels as well.
