Memorial Day is a time to pause, reflect, and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. As a proud veteran and glass artist, I hold this day with solemn reverence in my heart. My patriotic fused glass pieces are more than decorative art; they are heartfelt tributes to the fallen—each red, white, and blue heart symbolizing courage, sacrifice, and love of country. Through my work, I hope to honor those who never came home, and to remind us all of the price of liberty.

Below are some of my handcrafted patriotic tie tacks and hat pins, created in honor of the brave men and women of our armed forces. Each fused glass piece features a symbol representing a different branch—Air Force, Navy, and Marine/Army—with thoughtful color accents and decals. While I couldn’t find decals for Space Force or Coast Guard, my respect for their service is no less. Having worked alongside nearly every branch during my time in the military, I can honestly say each plays a vital role in protecting our nation and promoting peace around the world. These small but meaningful pieces are my tribute to their dedication and sacrifice.

Here are some of my newest patriotic fused glass magnets, each designed with deep appreciation for our country and the heroes who protect it. From powerful eagle decals to American flag sunflowers and bold “USA” emblems, each piece is created to celebrate the spirit of freedom and national pride. These small tokens are not just decorative—they’re heartfelt reminders of the sacrifices made and the strength we carry forward as a nation united. Perfect for your fridge, office, or to gift as a tribute to someone who has served.

These are just a few of my patriotic fused glass pendants and brooches—each created to honor the heart and soul of America. From bald eagles and flags to “God Bless America” and red, white, and blue sunflowers, every piece tells a story of freedom, strength, and unity. Whether worn close to your heart as a pendant or pinned proudly as a brooch, these glass creations are meaningful tributes to those we remember on Memorial Day and those who continue to serve.

Here are a few more of my patriotic fused glass magnets—and I just love how they turned out! From vintage trucks flying the American flag to soaring bald eagles, red-white-and-blue butterflies, and “God Bless America” sentiments, each one carries a burst of pride and a touch of nostalgia. These little works of art are perfect for adding a patriotic pop to your fridge, locker, or workspace, especially as we remember and honor those who served this Memorial Day.

I also created some patriotic butterfly snaps and sunflower-themed fused glass pieces. The butterflies, with their wings patterned in stars and stripes, feel like a gentle symbol of freedom and transformation. My sunflower designs, many paired with the American flag, bring a joyful, hopeful energy to the collection—reminding us of the light that follows sacrifice. Whether you prefer hearts, rounds, or whimsical shapes, these pieces are perfect for carrying a little sunshine and patriotic pride with you every day.

Additionally, I have a special collection of fused glass hearts adorned with patriotic decals. These hearts hold a deep meaning for me—representing not only love for our country but also remembrance for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service. Each one is carefully crafted with red, white, and blue details, making them heartfelt keepsakes for Memorial Day or any time you want to carry a piece of America close to your heart.

In addition to my patriotic pieces, I also made some fused glass creations that remind me of my beautiful Westcliffe. From bear paws and bighorn sheep to elk, eagles, and howling wolves, each pendant captures a bit of the wild spirit and natural beauty that surrounds this peaceful mountain town. The colors and silhouettes reflect the open skies, rugged landscapes, and quiet strength of the wildlife that roam freely here. Whether it’s the majesty of a soaring eagle or the mystery of a lone wolf at twilight, these pieces are a tribute to the serenity and soul of the place I call home.

As Memorial Day approaches, I’m filled with deep reflection and love—for my country, for those who have served, and especially for those who never made it home. As a veteran, I carry their memory with me always, and I hope my fused glass pieces honor their legacy in some small way. Each heart, eagle, flag, and sunflower is more than just glass—it’s a symbol of freedom, sacrifice, and unity.
God Bless America, and God Bless our troops—past, present, and future.
