Stained Glass Class

If you follow my newsletters, you know I love taking various classes and spending time with my friends. When I can combine the two I’m in heaven. This month my good friend Lela and I took a leaded stained glass class. Our instructor, Jordan, was wonderful and is very talented.

Jordan had all the supplies ready and even had the glass and pattern all on our table. On a funny note both Lela and I said we’ll be done in an hour, NOT true!

These little pieces took a lot more time and effort than you’d think. I struggled with a couple of the cuts. It’s a new thing pinning the glass. There are several steps involved including mudding.

It’s a great art form. Here are some examples of Jordan’s and her mom’s pieces. Art they amazing!

We liked the class so much we have another class scheduled for later this month (I’ll write about it next month).

We had a great time. I just want to say, I love Lela, we’ve been friends for a long time and I can’t imagine my life without her as my friend.
