Last month I wrote a post about some of the silk screened jewelry I created. I really enjoyed making them that not only did I make some more silk screened jewelry and I made etched jewelry. This first group of pictures are some new screen printed jewelry. The picture on the left are red silk screens the picture on the right are the opposite side (the far right is actually the front of the piece). On the next row again the picture on the left is the silk screen the picture on the right shows the front of some of the pieces.
The following fused glass jewelry are etched black dichroic. Some are one layer of etched dichroic and some have two layers (1 black & 1 clear) of dichroic.
The following fused glass jewelry are etched clear dichroic. Some are two layers of clear of dichroic (some have textured dichroic). The first row shows both front and back of the pieces. With the clear dichroic I really like drilling holes so both sides can be shown.
For these two pieces I mixed the etching with the silk screen, I think they turned out really great.
I really wish you could see the depth of these pieces. Photos just don’t do them justice. I’d love to know which technique you like the most.
