It’s that time again, changing of the relays. My big evenheat kiln started to heat a bit uneven, normally that means the relay is going bad. My big kiln takes 3 relays. A good friend of mine told me it’s best to change them all out at the same time.
To put it mildly it’s a pain in the butt to change them. My husband is normally logical and calm person, but he got so frustrated changing them out. It’s so cramped it’s difficult to even get his hand in there. We made some videos but with all the cussing it’s best not to include them. Needless to say he wanted to get a hold of the people who designed it. Doesn’t it look like a snakes nest in there?
Thank goodness we only have to change them out every couple of years!
