Relaxing in Breckenridge

In my last blog I wrote about my activities in Breckenridge. I also wanted to talk about some of our relaxing activities.
First Breckenridge is a great little town. It has a beautiful river walk. We walked around the town an river a couple of times. So many beautiful flowers and little bridges and of course the water was wonderfully high. Here are just a few pictures from around Breckenridge.

On our way home from the 4×4 trip we came through Leadville and down Hwys 285 and 24. We went by Turquoise lake. What a beautiful drive – we stopped several times and here are just a few pictures of that drive.

I also mentioned we biked Vail pass and it ended in Frisco (about 10 miles from Breckenridge). Again a cute little town with a museum and marina.

I’m not sure if I mentioned it but we have timeshare at Grand-lodge peak 7, we’ve owned a long time and we just love it. We love the rooms, the hot tubs, the steam room, we’re not skiers anymore but it’s right at the base of the ski lifts, also the private movie theaters (we watch 3 movies). So much fun and so relaxing. BTW we also drank wine – I love moscato!

I think we did a great mix of relaxing and adventure. I hope y’all don’t mind me showing some pictures from our vacation. It’s important to take breaks and reconnect with our love ones. I went on a short trip with Sky last month and now with Dan. I love my family and I love spending time with them. BTW I’m hoping to spend a day or so with my son in Nov. but we’ll see if he’s free.

I’m curious how do you relax?
