One of my good friends had an old friend come to take a private class. She wanted to make fused glass flower vases. Here are a couple pictures of the setup.
Kathy chose to make 4 flower vase panels and 2 flower magnets. Here are some class photos. Since it was just the 3 of us we had a lot of fun.
Merle has taken several fused glass classes with me, so she got to make a free glass piece with a decal! She chose to make a few extra pieces. First, she chose the cabochons and then chose the decals. I think she enjoyed it and there was a lot of choices of both cabochons and decals.
Here are Kathy’s flower pieces, 2 of the larger pieces are put onto candle holders and 2 are just little art pieces. The 2 little flower pieces are magnets. I think she did a fabulous job.
Here are Merle’s magnet decal pieces and she also made 1 pendant. They turned out so beautiful!
Additionally, Kathy received a free fused glass heart as their gift for taking my class.
Of course, I also had some fused glass set up in case anyone wanted to purchase some fused glass. So many new pieces. Both Kathy & Merle bought one of my new pocket vases! It always makes me feel so great when someone purchases one of my fused glass art pieces.
Yes, I did make a few more pieces, I just can’t help myself.
