Petrified Wood Fused Glass

One of favorite glasses is petrified wood. I did a post a while back and made some little dishes. It’s reactive glass and changes colors. The bottom four dishes are the ones I made back then.

I had Tracy cut some bears out of the petrified wood. Aren’t they beautiful? I’m not sure how I am going to display them yet.

In keeping with my plan to use my tutorials, there was a tutorial about petrified wood. Here are some cabochons, the only negative is that there isn’t a lot of room to show the amazing colors. I also made two fused glass dishes.

Here they are all slumped into dishes. These dishes are not food safe but aren’t they beautiful, I wish you could see the colors they are really special.

I’m not sure which I like better. I kind of like just the petrified wood. Which is your favorite?
