Last month I made some screen prints for a friend’s house in Westcliffe, co-workers, as gifts, my niece, etc. I liked them so much I thought I’d make me some. First, I made some coasters, I love nature so I thought these would be perfect. They are nice thick cork.

Next, I made some cork trivets. I made two nature ones for me, and my husband liked sayings. These are pretty large so perfect for hot pans.

Then I made some potholders. I used red because it’s my husband’s favorite color but it’s not quite dark enough. I think white would have been better on black, but he still likes them.

I made some more towels, this time I used other colors than just black. In fact, I mixed yellow and red for the “Home is where your Honey is”, and I mixed white and green for the leaf and deer towels. I did a much better job than the first time I did towels (bottom picture).

Lastly, I added a screen-print to a bag. In fact, I’ll be making a lot of bags – Colorado just did away with plastic bags.
