New Slumped Fused Glass Dishes

I love creating fused glass dishes, whether for art or as functional pieces. I just finished slumping several new dishes. Here are just a few of them. There are myriad of techniques and they are in various sizes. This first set is pieces of clear and blue fused together then put on a texture mold and finally slumped into a plate.

This next piece is a press, do you see the purple. It’s a matte finished and so much depth.

This is another press, can’t you tell I love pressed pieces.

This fused glass dish has iridized and opaline glass. This was actually a piece that didn’t work out very well, so I cut it down and then fired it into this awesome dish.

I also made another dish with iridized glass and fired on texture. You can’t eat off of it but it sure is pretty.

This one is a press, it’s small but what depth and beauty.

This fused glass dish has to be one of my favorite. It’s so organic and beautiful. I just love it.

These two little dishes are from pieces I didn’t like so I cut them up. They turned out great, perfect for a spoon rest, tea back, and so much more.

This piece I took confetti, frit, and vitrigraph and put it on clear. I think it turned out pretty good.

This is one of my screenmelt pieces that I cut up and fused it with sheet glass. It’s so beautiful, so Easterly.

This is a screen melt and it turned out so beautifully. I love it.
