New Fused Glass Dishes

Several months ago, I made a few fused glass dishes for the house in Westcliffe. I made these beautiful amber dishes. They are rectangular and perfect for dinner and breakfast. The key is not to put them in the microwave.

I love my amber dishes, but I didn’t make enough. So, I’ve made a few more in different colors, but I did use the same texture.

I also made different small dishes, I used blue and ivory to represent the blue of Colorado Skies and the ivory of our mountains. The blue and white I made them both exactly the same. Then I used ivory and green to represent the green of our trees. I didn’t make more of these yet, maybe next time.

I also made a couple serving dishes. This first one is a platter with starfish and coral, it has a rim, this picture doesn’t come close to showing the rim or beauty. I also made a big serving bowl, I used the leaves mold and amber to represent the Colorado Aspen trees.

Maybe I’ll make some smaller bowls next time.
