My visit to the Tea Shop

A couple months ago I wrote a post about my friend Jax, she mentioned me making some little fused glass dishes for a local tea shop. Here are some of the fused glass dishes I made for the tea shop. I created the screens and then fused each dish, printed them, then slumped the dishes. These can be used for tea bags, spoon rests, or anything you want.

Obviously, I made some fused glass stirrers for the tea shop to sell as well.

Jax and I was able to go last week and what a cute little shop – Home | FestiviTea – Celebration in a Cup (festiviteallc.com). Jax and I set in a little backroom, Margo calls a shrug. We had 3 pots of tea (all 3 were delicious) and we had 4 scones; they were very good. One day soon I’d like to go back for high tea, I did that in London with a girlfriend and enjoyed it immensely. Here are just a few pictures from our visit, please check out FestiviTea out.

She had a few other pieces of fused glass in her shop, but smaller than mine. She said they have a couple of different ways to use my glass and all the beautiful things Jax left with her. I’ll let you know what they decide to do with my tea dishes and stirrers. Either way, it’s a wonderful shop and I recommend you consider going with your bestie for a delicious pot of tea.
