My Trip to London – Part 2

In my last blog I wrote about my trip to London and all the amazing glass I was able to see while I was in there. In addition to working and seeing glass I also got to do a bit of sightseeing.

First me and my co-worker took a boat down the Thames river to Greenwich.

I just thought this was great
Yep I can find glass everywhere. This is amazing stain glass

Another day while I was visiting the London Glassblowing gallery I walked across the tower bridge (I got to see it while I was on the boat – but walking across the bridge was fun).

Of course Tower of London is right there too.

I also went to Buckingham Palace.

One of the coolest things I got to do was go to on of the office buildings that they don’t let the general public visit but once a year. It was so beautiful and I really enjoyed it.

Lastly on my last day I went to visit the parks of London. I love how many parks there are in London. I wish we had more parks in America. St James is my favorite but I loved them all.

Yes I realize how lucky I am that I have a job that allows me to travel. I hope ya’ll don’t mind me blogging a bit about my trip to London. BTW the business part of my trip was an amazing success. I so love my job.
