I just complete Doherty HS Craft Bazaar. It’s my last show of the season so it’s kind of bitter sweet. I always love seeing my old friends/customers and love meeting new ones. I’m not sure when my next show will be so it’s kind of sad. I can’t tell ya’ll how much your kind words about my fused glass means to me.
The winner of the Doherty HS Bazaar drawing is Deanna. Congratulations Deanna. I’ve email her personally as well – all she has to do is email me and we’ll work something out.
Something interesting happened on Sunday, the last day of the shows. I’ve had 5 or 6 shows back to back and haven’t broken anything but on Sunday — 2 fused glass ink blot pieces were broken. I broke one and my husband broke the other. It’s sad because the ink blot pieces are so unique I can’t remake them. Plus I really like them. I like the texture of the paint, the colors, well everything really. What’s worse is because of the way they are made, I can’t really refuse them into anything resembling what they were. Ok, now I’m getting depressed again. 🙁
