OMG I have had a crazy emotional month. First, my daughter moved into her college dorm. It’s difficult for me I miss her terribly. I’m so happy for her, this is an exciting time of her life. Since I miss her so much I thought I’d put her picture on some glass. I had made the little girl earlier in the month, but I made a little standing picture and a coffee stirer. It they are great for my office.
In addition to my daughter, my amazingly handsome and talented son told me that I’m going to be a grandmother come December! I’m on top of the world, I’m happy for my daughter starting her knew life and I’m happy for my son and his girlfriend on their new addition. My son is 31 so I wasn’t sure he’d have a baby. I’m so excited, I love my children and I’ve wanted grandchildren ever since I couldn’t have anymore children. Below is a picture of my grandbaby, I’m going to make a magnet for both me and my son of her, real soon!
Needless to say, I’ll be heading to California to see my son, Alisa, and my granddaughter in Jan 2018! The joy I feel for my son and Alisa is extraordinary! He is going to be an amazing father, just like his father before him and Alisa is going to be a fabulous mother! To say the least I’m going to love my grandbaby with every fiber of my being. My son said I could spend time with her and it brought tears to my eyes, I love my children with all my heart so I know my little granddaughter will make my heart even bigger!!
Clearly I’ll be making lots of custom glass pieces with my grandbaby.
