So last week I got an email from Teresa the winner of the Rockledge ranch arts show. She wanted to chose snaps for her prize, which as you know I don’t have on my websites. So she came by today to chose her prize and she got some additional fused glass snaps / pendants for presents as well. The same day I got an email from Carol and Ann about wanting more fused glass snaps so they came by today as well.
It was great, I was able to spend some one on one time with them (not that I was any help narrowing down their choices) and they could spend as much time as they like looking as my fused glass.
It was such a fun time for all of us that I’ve decided as long as I get 4-5 confirmed requests for a home show I will do a home show once a month. The reason why I’m willing to do this is because I won’t be able to do a show until August I think is my next one (there might be one that comes up, but I don’t know).
Anyway I’ll come up with some dates and if I get 4-5 people saying they will come by, I’ll set up whatever fused glass they request. In other words if I get a request for fused glass snaps then I’ll have all my snaps out. If I get a request for fused glass earrings, I’ll set up earrings etc. But I’ll only set up what is requested. Plus if there is something I’ve blogged about I can show ya’ll that as well. This way it’s less havoc on my house and my family.
So for February I can do it the 11th, in time for Valentine’s Day, if you’d like to come by and do some fused glass shopping email me at elegantfusedglass@gmail.com BTW I live out side the city limits so the taxes are only 2.9% vs 8.25%
So some options are 11th of February, 18th of March, and 15th of April (Sunday) in the afternoon from 1300 to 1600L (1pm – 4pm). I don’t know about May, I have a TDY and Madi graduates (I just don’t know if I’ll be in a good frame of mind for visitors). Just email me if you want to come by during one of my home shows.
