Last month I wrote about the meet the artist event at Tulip Gifts and Cards. It was a wonderful event! Sharon did a fabulous job hosting it. I love the way she displays my fused glass art as well as all the other amazing artists. Here are some photo’s of her fantastic store. It’s it beautiful! If you look closely you can see my fused glass flowers, butterflies, soap dishes, scones, stirrers, and so much more! I even brought some fused glass pendants, pocket crosses, pocket hearts, and stirrers to give away to those who bought my fused glass, it was so much fun!
Last month I wrote a post about a custom fused glass art piece I created. During the Meet the Artist I met Lynn and I was so worried she wouldn’t like it but she loved it. I showed her all the amazing glass I included including dichroic, iridized, silver, and so much more. I also gave her a pendant that I made from the same glass. She was very happy and even bought a few more fused glass nightlights.
I also got to meet another artist and even bought one of her handcrafted ceramic mugs, a hand-painted tiny bear card, and of course some lip balm. It’s kind of funny I’ve never visited Tulip Gifts and Cards without buying something. It’s so difficult not to with such a myriad of amazing items.
A big shout out to Sharon for showcasing local artists, I’m honored to be one of them. If you get a chance to go visit Sharon and Tulip Gifts and Cards please do. There are so many wonderful items in her store including cards, candles, soap, paintings, and of course fused glass and ceramics.
