This month I finished a beautiful custom commercial order of 25 big fused glass blue bowls. It’s a wonderful restaurant in Aspen Colorado. It’s quite large an a wonderful organic shape.
I truly appreciate their support. I stopped by the restaurant and hotel on my way back from Delta Colorado. They greeted me and my husband so nicely and Matt came out and visited me and we talked about other artists they support. It’s intentional and not just a fluke. I ordered a cobb salad and what do you think it was delivered in? It’s my bowl. Wow I almost cried. It goes without saying but it was the best cobb salad I’ve ever had.
After we finished guess who came out, Barbara the pastry chef! I had made her some little desert dishes in the past. She brought us this beautiful array of handmade desserts. Again – it’s on my dish!! WOW what can I say – what wonderful people! Yes, I was full and yes, we ate every piece. Delicious! Every time we ate something we took a picture (btw there was 2 of each pastry one for me and one for Dan).
They treated us so well, when I thanked Matt for all of their support he said, let’s see what we can do to place another order. Within a week he placed another order for the cobb salad dishes. Wow! Here they are again. I also included a couple pictures showing them fusing then slumping.
As a free gift I made a special piece for Barbara, I love the black, grey, & clear glass. I hope she likes it. I also included 2 tiny dishes. I also am giving Matt one of my forever hearts, full of flowers like their beautiful garden.
Thank you, Matt, Barbara, and your entire team for treating Dan and I so well. We appreciate your kindness.
