This blog won’t have anything to do with fused glass but it shows a different side of me.
This month my husband and I went to Breckenridge Colorado. We love Breckenridge it’s a great town and it’s so beautiful. This was our first time going in the wintertime. It’s also the first time he and I went somewhere alone in over 15 years. Isn’t that crazy!
We went snowmobiling. It was my first time ever and I just loved it. I was a bit tentative but I did it and I had a blast. The snow was deep and it was just so much fun. The scenery was incredible. I’ve never experienced the woods like we did on this trip. I’ve done a lot of fun things in my life but in the last few years I haven’t done something so adventurous as this and it felt great!
We also spent some time in the hot tub, eating great food, and of course playing air hockey.
On the way home we saw a couple of herds of bison. The one on the left just came up to fence and let us pet him. They are amazing creatures.
We liked it so much we’re going to try 4 wheeling. That’s right I’ve never done that either. You know I was listening to a lecture the other day and the instructor talked about how adventures adds meaning to our lives. So my husband and I are going to try to have new adventures.
