Horseback riding, Breckenridge

In my last post about my family trip to Breckenridge I talked about the places we went to. In this post I thought I’d talk about our activities. My daughter and I went horseback riding in White River National forest. It was fun and so beautiful. We normally try to go horseback riding anytime it’s available.

Another day my husband and I went ATVing. This was only my second time on an ATV. It was a 4 passenger vehicle so we rode together. I like driving my own but there were some benefits to riding together. I took some great pictures. The first group of pictures are of the compound. Some of the buildings are original. I love old buildings like these.

The ride was wonderful. It was so beautiful. I was a bit surprised we didn’t see any animals other than a couple of deer.

What a blast. We like it so much that when we move to Westcliffe we will probably get an ATV. Again I hope y’all don’t mind me sharing my adventures.
