Iris, one of my dear friends is moving to Texas. Iris and I’ve been friends for over 14 years. We served together at Peterson AFB and even though we both retired from the Air Force we remained good friends. Iris has been such a wonderful friend and just writing about her leaving brings tears to my eyes. I’m going to miss her so much.
Iris helped Lela with my show at Rockledge ranch last year. She’s watched my daughter for me. She has just always been there for me. I just don’t know what I will do without her. Lela and I have already talked about going to Texas to visit her next year.
Iris, Lela, and I went to breakfast the other day and I gave her one of my 3 season Aspens to remember Colorado and to remember me. I am so going to miss her. I love you my friend, you mean so very much to me. Thank you so much for being part of my life!
