In the past I have made fused glass wine charms, albeit I haven’t brought them to a show in a while. I have holiday ones including Christmas, Halloween and New Years.
However, during the woodland park show two lovely ladies walked into my booth and asked me do you have wine charms and I said yes but I didn’t bring them. But I asked them to wait a second and looked into my work bag (I normally have some wire, and other findings to change things for people i.e., pinch bails, earring wires, etc), and I found some wire.
So I told the ladies yes I can make you some fused glass wine charms. I let them pick out six, $5 pendants while I got busing making the hoops. I made them six hoops. It was so rewarding to be able to do create the wine charms for these ladies. They were visiting from out of states and wanted to give the charms as a present to their hosts.
I think I did pretty good considering my wire was pretty short. Needless to say I think I’ll bring more wire and probably my wine charms. Here are a few more I have already made.
