Fused Glass Votive Lights

One of my focus areas for the new year was to use products that I buy. I bought a mold for making bases for votives. The kit came with the mold for the bottom, drill bits for drilling the holes, and of course light fixtures that fit perfectly into the hole. The pictures below are the bottoms with the light in them. As you an see the bottom allows the cord to come out the side. The last picture are some of the bottoms both with and without the hole for the light.

The tops are normal fused glass votives and I drilled a hole in some of them. The first picture are votives with holes so they can have the lights. I also made votives without holes so they can be used with candles (electric or wax).

It great thing about these votive lamps is that the tops and bottoms can be mixed and matched. There are just a couple options. It makes them very customizable.

Here are some of the options of the votives without the holes. Of course you don’t have to have the bases. Also it’s pretty easy to drill the hole and turn them into votive lamps.

I’d love to hear what you think of my new fused glass votive lamps. I think they are pretty cool. The bases range from 4-6 inches and the votives can be small or large too.
