I’ve made fused glass trees e.g., aspen, etc. many times before but these are a new technique. I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned Tabitha before, she’s a fused glass instructor in Croatia. I really enjoy her videos, she’s so much fun to watch. Anyway she did a video on these cool little fused glass trees. I’m really drawn to them, I think they are adorable. I made seven trees total. My test tree is a rainbow. I think it’s beautiful and making it made me want to make more.
I made 4 season colors; Spring green, Summer Green, Fall colors, and Winter white. The base is iridized and makes them even more interesting.
I also made two more unique trees in blue and red. I love them.
The big question for me is what should I do them afterwards. I’m thinking of putting the four seasons in a picture frame. Or I can do individual frames. So many options. Which is your favorite color?
