Fused Glass Tree Class

During one of my craft shows I met this amazing artist named Merle, she created the most amazing gourds. I wrote about her and the gourd I traded for in November. During the visit she asked me if I could give her some glass cabochons so she could include them in her gourd creations. I of course said yes and gave her several.

She also asked me if should get some of my little fused glass trees. I said of course but instead of me making them, why don’t you come over and make them. I got a lot of supplies ready for her including sheet glass, vitrigraph, dots, and so many other things for her to make the trees with.

She said she’d love to make them herself and she came over and we made several. Here are some pictures of her making the tries.

Once I had them fired, Merle came over and we finished them up. I really enjoyed making them with her. We had such a good time.

Here they are all finished. I think they turned out beautifully. Merle was very happy with them.
