Since Father’s day is only a month a way I thought I’d do post on a possible gift for a dad or husband. A co-worker asked me if I could make a custom fused glass tie tack and cuff links for a friend of his. He asked for blue with the initial S. I gave him a couple of options of blue (left is dichroic / right is blue aventurine) and showed him how the S would make. I told him we could but an “S” decal on them.
He decided he wanted green and a tie tack vs a tie clip. So here are the fused glass tie tack and cuff links. They are green aventurine glass, the S is made from gold decals.
As I’ve mentioned before I tend to make more of an item when I’m asked to make a custom piece. Here are a few of the fused glass tie tacks I made. As you can see my the pictures the tie clutches for the backs. I like to give people a choice.
Here is a tie clip and tie tack. It’s really a personal preference. I like both
