This month I received commercial production order. It was a fun one but lots of work. First I cut out squares and then I cut circles. I cut over 200 circles and only broke 2, that’s crazy good!!
Then I washed them then, painted them, full fused them, then slumped them. I really liked them and they were fun to make.
After they were all slumped I washed them, dried them, and finally packed them.
I so appreciate my commercial customers. I know a lot of fused glass artists don’t want to make commercial / production because they find them boring. I do not feel that way. I appreciate them so much. This was 100 order so I cut 200 circles, that’s a challenge. Plus it allows me to continue to create glass which I love. Plus it’s a great feeling to know my fused glass artwork are in hotels and restaurants in several states. So thank you again. As you know I give a present for anyone that makes an order from me and this order was not exception. I made them a business card holder.
