I created something new this month and I think they are fun and beautiful. A friend of mine wanted a fused glass sign, but since it was only for a temporary purpose, I decided not to do a screen print but to make it erasable. I created two lovely, fused glass erasable signs. I do wish my penmanship was better, but then again, my pen was old.
He also wanted to hang the fused glass sign, so I cut them so they would fit in a standard frame.
I used hand pulled vitrigraph and I also used murrine and millefiori from various fellow artists. Do you see the bee, ladybug, and butterfly?
These special pieces can be used for various purposes including pictures, a background for other glass pieces, similar to below. The possibilities are endless, my mind is going crazy with ideas.
Can you think of anything other ideas to use them?
