Fused Glass, Resin, and Flowers Oh My

In another post, I showed you the Fused Glass Resin Mosaics I made recently. For those of you who follow my posts / newsletter you know I love flowers. I thought I’d add some dried flowers to fused glass with resin. I think they turned out really well. I still have a lot to learn. These first few are ones I made before but didn’t have quite enough resin, so I added some more resin, now they are better.

Here are some of the newest ones. I’ll need to trim off a bit of the resin from the sides, but I like them. I haven’t decided what to do with them, probably magnets. I’m not going to lie a few of them will be made into snaps and go into my collection. What do you think of them?

These red flowers turned out great, I even added some fused glass murrine.

In addition to flowers, I also came across some butterflies. This first group I put them on glass, 1 I added a dried flower and the other one I added a fused glass dot. The next group is

The three below are pretty cool, the round one is a magnet, and the two ovals can be anything magnet, snaps, or a pendant. I added some fused glass and a couple dried flowers as well.

I really like these, the first two are magnets and include dried flowers, fused glass, and resin. I really like the eyeglass holder; it reminds me of a sunflower with the glass in the center. Of course, the pendant is beautiful as well.

I also made a few fused glass, resin, and flowers snaps. I think they look great; I think I’ll be keeping one of them.

The last time I made something with Resin, it was a beach scene with turtles, so I decided to make some turtles. The top two I used purple resin and green mica. If you look closely one of the ones on the top line have orange glass dots. In the next row it’s just clear resin and green mica. I added black glass to one of them. I like that adding the glass to them because it makes them interesting. I have 6 total, I think I’ll try this mold with glass.

I like using the flowers, resin, and glass. I still have some things to use.
