This weekend I was able to try something I’ve been wanting to do for quite some time, Painting on glass. This paint is different than normal fused glass painting, it is pebeo paint. It goes on after all the fusing is complete and then baked in an oven to set the paint and make it permanent.
I fused the pieces in the normal way, then fused it on the texture molds then slumped them to make them into sconces then painted them with the pebeo paint. I think they are pretty cool.
This first fused glass sconce is koi fish on blue and green streaky glass. It reminds me of an aquarium and light up beautiful!
The second fused glass sconce has more painting and made with crackle glass with iridized glass.
I think they are pretty cool and really show off the small candle that comes with it!!
