Fused Glass Ornament & Sun-catcher

Yes, I know it’s May but this post is to show how long it takes me to finish some of my fused glass pieces. I’ll make a piece but I won’t finish it.

Here are some ornaments. I love making stars and tree ornaments. As you can see I have at least 3 different types of fused glass stars. I also have several types of trees. I can make both fused glass trees and stars in any color. Some of these I finished with wire and some I finished with cord.

Here are a few more fused glass ornaments. The ones on the left are made with decals. The ornaments in the middle are made by layering glass on glass. The picture on the right is a mix, two have decals. The snowflake also have murrine. The circle is a mixture of glass, it’s a pretty piece on both sides.

Below are some of my Sun-catchers or ornaments. There are different textures and some are iridized (left side). The pieces on the right are actually bottle bottoms. I used wire, cord, and chain to finish them. I drilled holes in all of these pieces. Did I mention how much I hate to drill?

These three pieces are so pretty. They can be decorations, sun-catchers, or ornaments. I really like the crosses because they have texture and they are iridized.

It’s been so great actually finishing my pieces that I’ve created. It feels like my pieces have become what they were suppose to become.
