I love making my Fused Glass Mushroom Lights. Here are my newest mushrooms. This first group, have extra embellishments. The first one has, basically a sticker on the bottle part of the mushroom, the second one has washi tape on it and the third one has a decal on it. The difference is the first two can be removed the third one is fused on. I love using recycled bottles, they are so useful.
This next group of mushrooms are green bottles. I like using colored bottles, they make the mushrooms a bit more festive and mutes the light.
The next group are clear bottles. Whether clear or colored, with or without decals, it doesn’t matter they are all wonderful.
These next two are more fancy bottles. the one on the right is mine. I love the mushrooms and have several of my own and now I have 1 more.
This next fused glass mushroom is really great, it took me 3 firings to get the cap in the right shape. I haven’t glued it yet. I also took 2 clear bottles and sandblasted the outside of one (top row) and sandblasted the inside of the bottle on the 2nd row. The 3rd row shows them side by side, I’m curious which is your favorite.
Do not use real tea lights. Use electric tea lights instead. I can include a tea light or fairy lights, with your purchase of one of my fused glass mushrooms.
I hope you like my fused glass mushrooms. Which one is your favorite? Remember you can purchase any of the mushrooms in this post other than the one I said is mine – LOL.
