In March and April I wrote two DyK’s about recycled bottles. I thought I’d show you what I made with some of the tops of bottles. I love recycled bottles. Here are some using different colored bottoms. I like the different shapes of bottoms and tops. I can include a tea light or fairy lights.
The mushrooms below are some with decals on the bottles. As with the mushrooms above I can put tea lights or fairy lights. I so love the mushrooms, with or without decals!
On a 4 sided bottle I added custom photos of Dan and I from our snowmobiling trip. I really like it. The only thing with this one is the tea light won’t fit. I really think it’s cool!! The decals with the white show up a bit better than the transparent.
I can also make garden mushrooms that fit into your garden beautifully, below are some of the ones I had for my home show. I can make them in any color.
The Mushroom lights below are pretty cool because the glass on top is transparent I put a decorative piece of metal on top and now any magnet can be placed on top. They are so cool I love them.
The one negative about my fused glass mushrooms is if someone break the bottle. Because the glass isn’t compatible the only thing that can be done is to try to get the bottle off or to break it with a hammer and breakup the mushroom cap and make something else with it.
