Earlier this week I wrote a blog about adding colored decals to fused glass. My friend also wanted some sepia choices.
So I made her a sepia fused glass night light and magnet. The nice thing about custom sepia decals is that they are fused on so they can be put on anything not just night light and magnets.
The one thing about sepia is to have good contrast and to have a saturated picture, so it can be turned black and white.
Of course I wanted to make one for me too. Instead of making just a night light or a magnet. I made myself a mini sconce. There’s actually a lot more to this piece that I’m just exploring so I’m sure I’ll be blogging more details later.
I just love this piece. I did think it would be a little more transparent but with a small candle behind it – it’s perfect.
