This month I had a wonderful class with two talented students, which yes is less than my minimum of three students. I had a third student scheduled, but she dropped out and I didn’t have time to get a 3rd student and I didn’t want to punish my other two students by canceling the class. I’m glad I didn’t cancel the class; we had lots of fun and they made beautiful night lights. As always I have my liability forms and a free gift including pendants, key chains, or stirrers.

To help my students chose what they want to make I had several examples of fused glass projects they can create.

As always I show my students my different rooms, I have available for them to look through to either buy fused glass or to look for inspiration. I thought I’d just post panoramic pictures of my glass rooms; finished room, finishing / inspiration room, and my fused glass gallery area.

Here is my studio, where I teach fused glass classes. You can see I’m all set for my students.

This is Cindy’s 2nd fused glass class; the first time she made a beautiful nightlight, and she loved it so much she made another fused glass nightlight. Isn’t it beautiful!

It was Virginia’s first class, and she was a bit nervous but look at what she made! She did a beautiful job!

I also offered them a chance to make an extra fused glass e.g., pendant, magnet, or a key chain. The first row are samples, and the 2nd row is Virginia making her key chain. The 3rd row is Cindy making her magnet. The 4th row are just a few of the decals and cabochons available.

I think Cindy and Virginia had a good time. Without a doubt I know they made beautiful, fused glass pieces.
