One of my favorite things to create is fused glass jewelry. I finished quite a few pieces recently and wanted to show them off. The pieces below are all pressed glass. Glass wants to be 6mm thick, but when you press it, it’s very thin yet durable. In the picture you can see I’m holding a normal cabochon and a pressed piece, what a huge difference.
The fused glass jewelry below is made from a special technique (remember the dishes I made – same technique), I really love it, it looks like stone. I even made some earrings.
Drilling glass is not my favorite to do, but I drill when I think a piece can be pretty both sides, for example the first two pictures (and the second row) are the same pendants front and back.
I really love the pendants below; they are reactive glass and absolutely stunning they look like stone.
I love creating small, fused glass pendants, the pictures below are smaller and perfect for petite adults or children.
I also created several others in various techniques. Which is your favorite fused glass pendant / technique?
I also love making snaps, here are some of the snaps I made. I love snaps, in fact of all the fused glass jewelry I made/finished, I am keeping some of the snaps.
