When I was in Japan I took a flower arranging class called Ikebana. I was taught the flowers are at three levels, Heaven, mankind, and earth. I don’t have a lot of flowers but I thought I’d show off my new fused glass Ikebana Vase.
The fused glass is a lily pad. I drilled a hole in the fused lily pad, fire polished it and then glued it to the base. I put the Kenzan in the bottom to hold the flower arrangement.
The base is a votive that I used alcohol ink then sprayed it to keep the color.

I just found this little fused glass dragonfly and Thought I should put it on the lily pad, what do ya’ll think? I’ll have to glue it since I can fused it now that I put the base on.
