Not too long ago I hosted home show for a local Red Hat Ladies Club. One of the members is both a friend and a customer. She asked me if I could set up a home show the ladies and give a Fused Glass demonstration. I was happy to host the group and eagerly agreed. I’m so happy I did. They were such a wonderful group of women! The ladies were amazing and could write books about their lives. A little nervous at first the ladies helped me feel right at home (one was retire Air Force and others were married to the military at one time). I for one had a blast.
We ate out at a local restaurant and then we went to my house for the Fused Glass Demonstration. At first I was a little nervous – I’ve never given a demonstration in front of so many people, but once I get started talking about Fused Glass and it’s difficult to get me to stop. After the demonstration the ladies got a chance to look at my fused glass displays and make purchases. Additionally, a couple of the ladies asked me if I had Star of David fused glass pieces and I was ashamed to say no. I have numerous types of fused glass crosses and even a Hamsa, but no Star of David Fused Glass pieces. Needless to say I quickly received two separate custom orders for Star of David pendants. Anyone who has ordered a custom piece from me knows I typically make at least two so they have a choice, well this time I made several. So I have several additional Star of David Pendants and sets available.
I also had a requests for lady bugs so again I made several. All of the remaining Fused Glass Star of David pendants and sets along with the ladybugs are on our sites i.e., our original site, ETSY & Art fire.
