Fused Glass Hearts for Local High School

One of the school craft shows that I participate in is Rampart Craft show. I received an email asking for donations for one of their charity fundraising events “bald for bucks”. Each year Rampart high school participates in raising money for someone battling cancer. They are creating baskets to be donated to this year’s Jazz and Java Concert, put on by the Rampart Music Programs. The concert and accompanying silent auction. I love donating to good causes and this is a great cause. I love creating fused glass hearts and they are perfect for these baskets.

Here are the hearts with the sticky pad on the back so they stick to the hearts.

Here are the 50 hearts all ready to be wrapped up. I got heart cutouts and wrote a note on the back “a pocket heart to show you are loved”. Here the fused glass hearts are all ready to be shipped and ready for the baskets.

In addition to the hearts for the baskets I made the principle a fused glass heart for her desk. I thought she’d love this floral fused glass heart. I love these little frames.

As a reminder there are several ways to display the fused glass hearts or you can just keep them in your pocket.

I didn’t take pictures, but I also donated more hearts to North Carolina. I just love fused glass hearts. They are perfect gifts to show someone they are loved. Plus aren’t they all so beautiful. I never get tired of making fused glass hearts.
