Fused Glass Goddess

Back in 2019, I wrote a post about this great couple that told me my buddha’s aren’t buddha’s (male) but Kwan Yin / Quan Yin – Goddess of Compassion. I made a few more – I never get tired of these beautiful pieces.

I’d love to know which is your favorite? This first one is iridized – mainly purple. I drilled holes so it can hang, I have ribbon in it but I can change it to anything. It’s only 1 layer of glass so it’s nice and light. I also added dichroic to it.

The next one is also iridized, but a rainbow effect. This one I pained gold on it as well. I drilled holes in this and have leather, albeit again it can be changed out. This one is two layers of glass so much heavier.

This next one is very unique. It’s clear, sandblasted, but it also has iridized and dichroic. I put it in a stand because it’s beautiful on both sides. I wish you could see it. The one on the left is the sandblasted side and the 2 on the right are the shiny side – can you see the dichroic and iridized?

I know what you are thinking, Karen do you have one? Yes I do, it’s the below. However, I like the one above so much I may have two.

I’d love to hear which is your favorite version.
