Spring is here and I’m so ready as evident by this blog. What made me think of it was a good friend of mine was talking about the fused glass garden art I made her a couple years ago. I made it for her because her garden is beautiful and I wanted to test out the concept. So I made her one that I thought was really pretty and she seemed happy with it. In January we we talking and she told me it was still out side and I’m like oh no – it’s going to crack. I’ve always been told to bring glass art in during the winter. So she brought the fused glass yard art in the house and liked it so much after she cleaned it up she hung it on the wall. Which I found really funny and quite the compliment. It also encouraged me to make more fused glass garden art.
This first new fused glass garden art I made is similar to the one I made my friend but there are no decals on it. I love the texture and the flowers and birds. Perfect for Spring. I also like the colors. Green and Blue are clearly some of my favorite colors. It’s also a little transparent so you can see the colors from both sides.
My next one is a miniature fused glass tree of life design, it’s iridized and a beautiful transparent green. I love the tree of life and this miniature version is perfect for the garden. I have a miniature fused glass greenman as well – again perfect for the garden.
I also have a fused glass dragonfly design.
These are just a few that I have made. I love this concept I have plans to make even more. I hope you like them. I’m so glad spring is here!!
